Akalanka Hewage

Akalanka Hewage has a diverse work experience in the engineering field. Starting in 2013, they worked as an Engineering Trainee at United Motors Lanka PLC for eight months. In 2015, they held multiple Engineering Trainee roles at different companies, including Srilanka Railways, Trade Promoters (Pvt) Ltd, and SENOK TRADE COMBINE (PRIVATE) LIMITED. From 2016 to 2021, Hewage worked at Tudawe Brothers Limited, initially as an Engineering Trainee and later as an Engineering Assistant (Mechanical). Currently, they are employed as an Engineer - Tower Cranes at Hayleys Advantis Limited, starting in August 2021.

Akalanka Hewage began their education at C.W.W. Kannangara Central College in Matugama in 1997 and continued until 2010. In 2013, they attended the Institute of Engineering Technology, specializing in Automotive Engineering, and graduated in 2017. From 2018 to 2020, Akalanka pursued a Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Wolverhampton. Currently, they are enrolled in Cardiff Metropolitan University for a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree.
