Geethanjana Sumanarathna

Geethanjana Sumanarathna has a diverse work experience in human resources. Geethanjana started their career as an Internship-Capability Development at Unisons Capital Leasing Ltd in 2018, where they supported HR operations and participated in recruitment camps. Geethanjana then moved on to Citizens Development Business Finance PLC, where they worked as a Junior Executive and later as a Management Trainee in HR and Digital Business. Geethanjana'sresponsibilities included monitoring performance, designing rewards and benefits structures, and coordinating with various departments to enhance employee knowledge and arrange trainings. In 2021, Geethanjana joined Access Engineering PLC as a Junior Executive in Human Resources, where they prepared staff attendance and maintained leave databases, and utilized SAP and Gallery ERP systems. Currently, they are working as a Human Resources Executive at Hayleys Advantis Limited, where they are involved in recruitment, handling the exit process, and managing insurance-related matters.

Geethanjana Sumanarathna completed their Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Human Capital Management from SLIIT (Sri Lanka Institute of Information Technology) between the years 2017 and 2020. Prior to that, between 2015 and 2016, they studied Business English at the University of Colombo. Geethanjana completed their O/L (Ordinary Level) and A/L (Advanced Level) studies at Thambuththegama Central College from 2006 to 2015. In addition to their formal education, Geethanjana obtained a certification in Google Analytics for Beginners from Google Digital Garage in October 2020.
