Satheesha Abeysinghe

Satheesha Abeysinghe has a diverse work experience in the legal field, spanning over several years. They have worked as an Intellectual Property Agent at the National Intellectual Property Office of Sri Lanka since November 2022. Prior to that, they were a Senior Legal Executive at Hayleys Advantis Limited from November 2021.

In 2018, Satheesha founded neethi.lk, a legal-focused platform on Facebook. They also worked as an Attorney-at-Law, Notary Public, and Commissioner for Oaths at the Supreme Court of Sri Lanka starting from December 2015.

Satheesha has held various legal positions within the Attorney-General's Department. From October 2016 to November 2018, they served as the FIAT Counsel, representing the Attorney General's Department. During the same period, they also worked as an Attorney at Law of the Child Protection unit. They started their career as a Legal Apprentice at the Attorney-General's Department in September 2015.
