Nadun Malawaththa

Nadun Malawaththa currently serves as the Manager of R&D and Regulatory Affairs in the Crop Protection and Planting Material Division at Hayleys Agriculture Holdings Limited since April 2023. Previously, Nadun held the position of Assistant Manager for R&D and Regulatory Affairs, overseeing product development and registration for Crop Protection Products, Fertilizers, and Pesticides, along with managing regulatory matters. Prior experience includes serving as the Assistant Manager of Regulatory Affairs in Crop Protection & Nutrition at Lankem Ceylon PLC from September 2020 to March 2023, where responsibilities included product registration and regulatory oversight for imports under SunAgro LifeScience Limited. Earlier work experience includes a role in quality assurance for fresh foods at Keells in 2019. Nadun holds a Bachelor of Science in Molecular Biology and a degree in Agriculture Technology & Management from the University of Peradeniya, completed in 2020.
