Cassandra Behr

Cassandra Behr serves as the Assistant Director of Transportation for Hays Consolidated Independent School District since June 2022. With extensive experience in the field, Cassandra holds the position of Regular Education State Roadeo Chair at the Texas Association of Pupil Transportation since April 2017, managing the organization of the state roadeo. Previously, roles included Assistant Director at Del Valle Independent School District, Director of Transportation Services at Dallas Independent School District, and Assistant Director of Safety and Training at Beaumont Independent School District, among others. Starting as a bus driver in various school districts, Cassandra has developed a comprehensive background in transportation management and special needs routing, alongside expertise in staff supervision and training from a tenure as Site Director at College Station ISD Summer Day Camp. Educational credentials include studies in Biology and Chemistry at Texas A&M University.
