Ian Daniels

Ian specializes in auditing and advising corporate clients with a particular emphasis on owner-managed and entrepreneurial businesses in the property sector.

Ian has over 30 years of experience ranging from small and medium-sized enterprises to companies listed on the FTSE 250. He has particular expertise in assisting clients with their technical accounting issues under both UK GAAP and IFRS. Ian strongly believes in providing advice that is practical and pragmatic whilst remaining technically sound.

Prior to joining haysmacintyre in 2011, Ian spent 24 years at a “Group A” firm, 12 of which as a partner, the latter years of which were spent in that firm’s real estate sector. Ian also worked as an interim director of finance at a large family-owned property group which provided invaluable insight into being “on the other side of the fence”.
