Avtar Raikmo

Avtar Raikmo has a strong work experience in the field of engineering and technology. Avtar has recently served as the Director of Engineering at Hazelcast since 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Meta as an Engineering Manager from 2020 to 2022, where they supported the development of AR-focused digital identity and expression features across various apps and helped build an automated testing platform for mobile apps. From 2016 to 2020, Avtar worked at Morningstar as the Director of Technology - Market Data. During their time at Goldman Sachs from 2007 to 2016, they held the position of Executive Director - GSAM IT. Their responsibilities included overseeing the re-engineering effort of the "Strategic Trade Entry Platform" and delivering a global solution for Equities Order Management and Trading. Avtar engaged with various vendors and development platforms on a regular basis. Avtar's career in the field of technology began at Morgan Stanley in 2004, where they worked as an Associate in the Securities Lending Technology International team. Avtar played a key role in developing solutions for Equity Finance Services and Collateral Management, focusing on the redesign and deployment of trading platforms.

Avtar Raikmo completed their education with a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Computer Science from UCL in 2004.
