Prachuryya Barua

Prachuryya Barua has a diverse range of work experience spanning over two decades. Prachuryya currently holds a role as a Solutions Architect at Hazelcast, starting in January 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Tata Consultancy Services for 15 years. During their time at Tata Consultancy Services, they held various positions including Head of CMI Rapid Lab, Associate Consultant, Assistant Consultant, and ITA. Prachuryya also has experience working at Capgemini as a Senior Consultant from 2004 to 2008. At Capgemini, Prachuryya primarily worked on Java technologies with expertise in PL/SQL. Before that, they worked as a Software Engineer at Patni Computer Systems from 2003 to 2004. Their earliest known work experience was at Setu CyberTech Pvt Ltd as a Software Engineer from 2002 to 2003. At Setu, Prachuryya was responsible for designing and developing core Map engines and GIS applications. Prachuryya specialized in Spatial Data Structures and other GIS algorithms.

Prachuryya Barua completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Physics from Gujarat University between 1995 and 1997. Following this, they pursued a Master of Computer Applications (MCA) degree at Dharmsinh Desai University from 1999 to 2002.
