Sarah Held

Sarah Held has extensive work experience in the healthcare industry. Sarah currently serves as the Chief Nursing and Quality Officer at Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation. Prior to this, they were the Director on the Board of Directors at the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs (COA). In the past, they have also held positions such as the System Director of Nursing Practice and Clinical Excellence at Fairview Health Services and the Group Director of Surgical Services/Model Unit Director at HealthEast. Sarah has also been involved in leadership roles such as being a Board Representative at MOLN and serving on the Board of Directors at the Minneapolis School of Anesthesia.

Sarah Held received their Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from Briar Cliff University, where they studied from 1998 to 2001. Following that, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) at Argosy University Twin Cities from 2004 to 2006. Most recently, Sarah Held completed their Doctor of Nursing degree in Health Innovation and Leadership at the University of Minnesota, where they studied from 2015 to 2019.
