Alyssa Landin is a Senior Research Scientist at Hazen Research, Inc. since September 2019, where responsibilities include collecting and interpreting data for hydrometallurgical experiments and compiling research data for reports and graphs. Prior to this role, Landin served as a General Chemistry Lecturer at the University of Colorado Boulder, overseeing a laboratory class for approximately 430 students, and held positions as a Graduate Research Assistant and Graduate Teaching Assistant, focusing on electronic structure theory and undergraduate instruction. Earlier experiences include conducting undergraduate research at Los Alamos National Laboratory and Washington State University, exploring semiconducting thin films and Ion Mobility Spectrometry. Landin holds a PhD in Chemical Physics and a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry and Mathematics from the University of Colorado Boulder and Luther College, respectively.
