Luuk van Buuren is an experienced management professional with a strong background in the floral industry. Currently serving as the General Manager for Hazera Seeds in the USA and Canada since September 2022, Luuk oversees daily operations and manages financial performance. Previously, as Chief Operating Officer at Buds Floral Importers & Dist. Inc. from July 2021 to August 2022, Luuk played a pivotal role in implementing an industry-specific ERP system and launching an online sales channel. Luuk's earlier experience includes serving as Commercial Director and Business Development Manager at Sande Flowers, where Luuk led various commercial activities and established strategic relationships across North America. With a solid academic foundation including an Executive Master of Business Administration from Florida International University and a Bachelor of Commerce from Avans University, Luuk is well-equipped for leadership roles in business development and operations.
