Alexander Russman has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Alexander is currently serving as the VP and Head of the Metaverse Fund at HBAR Foundation, where they joined in March 2022. Prior to this, they held the position of Director of the Consumer Engagement Fund at the same company, starting in October 2021.

From 2021 to 2021, Alexander was the Director of Business Development at Hedera, where they played a key role in establishing the NFT vertical and ecosystem. Alexander also headed the Metaverse Fund when the BD team moved to the newly established HBAR Foundation.
At Enjin, Alexander held multiple positions, including Director of Business Development from September 2019 to January 2021. Alexander led the Enjin Adopter Program and was involved in various events related to blockchain gaming. Alexander also played a significant role in bringing together multiple companies to create 'The Pluriform', the world's first cross-game digital NFT fashion.
Alexander co-founded XTERAT in 2019, a fashion and blockchain company that issued one of the first fashion collections and 'phygital' NFTs on the Ethereum blockchain.
Before their involvement in the blockchain industry, Alexander worked as a Director at Peryton Consulting from 2018 to 2019, and as a Faculty Manager at APAX English from 2017 to 2018. Alexander also gained experience at Accenture, working as a Consultant from 2015 to 2016 and as a Business and Technology Analyst from 2014 to 2015.
Alexander Russman has a diverse educational background. Alexander attended Westminster School in London for their secondary education from 2005 to 2010. After completing their secondary education, they went on to pursue a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) degree in Modern History from the University of Oxford, which they obtained from 2010 to 2013. Alexander then furthered their education by pursuing a Master of Public Administration (MPA) degree in Public Administration from the Hertie School from 2018 to 2020. Additionally, in July 2012, Alexander obtained a C1 Spoken German Certificate from the Goethe Institut London.
