Chief of Communications at Hudson's Bay Company

Trenesa Danuser serves as the Chief Communications Officer of HBC and Global Head of Branding, Communications, and Community Outreach for Streetworks Development. In this role, she helps develop and execute communications strategies for a multi-billion-dollar portfolio of North American real estate properties.

Leveraging her global experience in the communications and development industries, Trenesa supports HBC’s real estate endeavors through coordination and communication with local communities and stakeholders throughout the development process and ensures Streetworks/HBC’s commitment to corporate and social responsibility remain at the forefront of all brand operations.

Throughout her career, Trenesa has held leadership positions with a variety of global organizations – including Estee Lauder Companies, Marina Maher Communications and Ingalls, Quinn & Johnson – amassing a depth of cross-industry expertise.

Trenesa previously served on the American Red Cross (ARC) Rapid Response team, where she closely supported then-President of ARC, Elizabeth Dole. In this capacity, she led communications responses and closely coordinated with local and national media in the aftermath of several devastating natural disasters and high-peril crises.

She has also served on a number of boards dedicated to social justice, education, women’s empowerment, and entrepreneurship, including the Marble Collegiate Church of Collegiate Corporation, Beverly Hills Chamber of Commerce, and eWomenNetwork.

Trenesa holds a B.S. in Telecommunications from the University of Florida and has completed executive education in Social Media and Digital Marketing for Business from the NYU Stern School of Business.
