John Tomin

John Tomin's work experience includes their current role as Vice President of Information Technology at HBD Industries, Inc, which they started in April 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Advocate RCM as the Director of IT Infrastructure from June 2022 to April 2023, and as the Manager of IT Infrastructure from October 2019 to June 2022. Before that, Tomin held positions at Lifestyle Communities, serving as the IT Operations Manager from May 2017 to October 2019, and as the Lead Systems Administrator from April 2016 to October 2019. John also has experience at Ohio Legislative Information Systems, where they worked as the Technical Operations Manager from August 2011 to April 2016. John had previously held roles as the Senior Network Systems Engineer, Network Systems Engineer, Customer Support Technician, and Intern at the same organization.

John Tomin has a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from DeVry University, which they obtained between 2000 and 2003. John further pursued their education at Keller Graduate School of Management of DeVry University, where they earned a Master's degree in Network Communication Management from 2005 to 2008.

In addition to their formal education, John Tomin has also obtained several certifications. In February 2019, they became an AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate through Amazon. In March 2021, they received an edX Verified Certificate for Becoming a Successful Leader (Inclusive Leadership Training) from edX. Most recently, in April 2022, they obtained the AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS).
