Chris G. has a diverse work experience history spanning over 20 years. Chris has held various finance roles in different industries, showcasing their expertise in financial planning, analysis, and business partnering.

Starting as a Spanish Credit Controller at P&O Logistics, they then worked as an Accounts Assistant at Hamworthy Combustion before transitioning to Barclays Bank as a Senior Financial Analyst. Following this, they joined Ulster Bank as a Treasury Risk and Control Manager.

Chris then moved to RIAS, where they served as a Senior Financial Analyst and later became the Finance Manager. In this role, they successfully implemented IBM Cognos TM1 and developed various financial models and templates. Chris also led budgeting and forecasting processes, managed cash flow, and produced detailed management accounts and financial reports.

After four years at RIAS, Chris joined Prysmian as a Treasury Controller before returning to RIAS as a Finance Manager, where they continued to excel in financial analysis, budgeting, and management reporting.

With a strong financial background, Chris then joined Synergy as an Operations Performance Analyst and gradually progressed to become a Senior Budgeting Analyst. Chris played a pivotal role in transitioning the Financial Planning and Analysis team to a self-service model and led a team of analysts responsible for analyzing performance and data cleansing.

In 2018, Chris joined Sodexo as a Commercial Analyst, where they implemented various processes and acted as a finance business partner to different functions within the company.

Most recently, Chris has been working at HBF Health as a Senior Finance Business Partner and Finance Manager Transformation. Chris is currently serving as the Head of Finance Systems, leading the implementation of Anaplan and driving finance system efficiencies.

Through their extensive work experience, Chris has gained valuable skills in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, system implementations, and business partnering.

Chris G. completed their GCSE from Pewsey Vale School between 1987 and 1992, achieving 7 A to C grades including English Language, English Literature, German, Maths, and Science. They then attended Swindon College from 1992 to 1994, where they pursued A Levels in Accounting and German. Chris G. furthered their education at Bournemouth University from 1995 to 1998, completing a Bachelor of Arts degree (Hons) in Accounting. Finally, from 2004 to 2008, they attended The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, earning an Associate degree in Accounting.
