Tariq Mahmood

Tariq Mahmood is a highly experienced finance professional with a diverse background in auditing and management. Currently serving as the Head of Management Audits at HBL Microfinance Bank LTD since February 2019, Tariq also held the positions of Unit Head Retail Audits and Unit Head Management Audit, and acted as Interim Head of Internal Audit for five months. Prior to this role, Tariq worked as a Consultant/Partner at Mian Saleem & Co. Chartered Accountants and has experience in quality control as a Reviewer at the Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Pakistan. Other notable positions include Head of Finance at National Engineers and Ghazanfar Group, as well as managerial roles in audit and assurance at KPMG and M.Yousuf Adil Saleem & Co. Tariq holds multiple professional qualifications including FCA from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan and ACMA from ICMA Pakistan, along with a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of the Punjab.
