George Kocyan

George Kocyan is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in software and hardware engineering. Currently serving as a Sustaining Engineer at HBK - Hottinger Brüel & Kjær since May 2020, George focuses on Python development on both Linux and Windows platforms while automating production machinery and managing PostgreSQL databases and GIT repositories. Previously, roles included Software Engineer at Zebra Technologies, where automated tests for mobile printers were developed, and Principal Engineer in Test Engineering at Western Digital, where George executed Solid State Disk performance tests. At SanDisk®, George worked as a Staff Test Engineer on enterprise SSD compatibility and compliance tests, following a tenure as Senior Hardware Engineer at ExaGrid Systems, which involved supporting HDD storage issues, and as Hardware Engineer at Netezza, where George led hard drive activities.
