Sven Gatzemeier

Sven Gatzemeier is an experienced professional in quality management and consulting, currently serving as the Head of Quality at HBK - Hottinger, Brüel & Kjær since February 2019. In addition to this role, Sven operates GATZEMEIER consulting, focusing on quality, health and safety, and environmental management. Previous positions include Project Manager, Lead Trainer, and Lead Assessor at Lloyd's Register from March 2017 to February 2019, as well as Quality Director and Quality Manager at TOMRA between September 2011 and March 2016. Sven also held the role of Manager Quality at Casco Schoeller from June 2010 to July 2011 and worked at Lear Corporation GmbH in advanced supplier quality engineering and product engineering from November 1999 to May 2010. Early in the career, Sven contributed to development and process engineering at Meritor LVS for a brief period in 1999. Sven earned a Dipl.-Ing. (FH) degree in production and process technology with a focus on recycling from FH Braunschweig / Wolfenbüttel, completing studies between 1995 and 1999.
