Nicole Armellino

Nicole Armellino is the VP, Controller, NJ Devils at HBSE. Nicole has over 10 years of experience in accounting and financial reporting. Nicole began their career as an accountant with U.S. Retirement Partners. Nicole was responsible for accounting/financial reporting of four (4) acquired partner companies. Nicole then transitioned to AEG Live where they worked as a Venue Accountant - Starland Ballroom. Nicole was responsible for receiving and applying cash, checks, and wires and creating invoices and credit memos. Nicole also coded and routed invoices, expense reports, and manual checks to the A/P department. Nicole created weekly flash report for management to illustrate performance of shows. In addition, they performed month end closing entries including but not limited to sponsorship amortization, show accruals, G&A prepaid amortization, and re-classing deferred revenue and costs for the current month. Nicole also reconciled accounts within J.D. Edwards reconciliation module and prepared monthly financial package for management. Furthermore, they created the budget once yearly, re-forecasted monthly with General Manager and Talent Buyer for two (2) upcoming months. Nicole also participated in an eighteen month project called the Quality Close Project (QCP) in which a select team re-wrote the policies and procedures manual for the entire Finance and Accounting department. The project had been implemented across the company and the result was a shortened month end close from 18 business days to

Nicole Armellino has a B.S. in Accounting and Marketing from NYU Stern School of Business, and they also went to Holmdel High School.
