Formulation Scientist at hC Bioscience

Lingyue Yan has worked in a variety of roles since 2012. From 2012 to 2017, they worked as a Research Assistant at Nanjing Tech University, where they developed skills in bacteria culture, DNA isolation, GC, HPLC, genome assembly, and gene cloning. Lingyue then moved to the University at Buffalo, where they worked as a Research Assistant and Teaching Assistant from 2017 to 2022. As a Research Assistant, they developed surface-modified nanoparticles to treat various diseases, delivered cargos including nucleic acids, proteins, and chemical drugs, and worked on 12 different projects, publishing 7 papers. As a Teaching Assistant, they instructed 70 undergraduate students and assisted teachers with classroom management and document coordination. Currently, they are a Formulation Scientist at hC Bioscience, Inc.

Lingyue Yan obtained a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from the University at Buffalo from 2017 to 2021. In 2021, Yan obtained a micromaster in Statistics and Data Science from MITx Courses. Yan also holds four certifications, including Probability - The Science of Uncertainty and Data from MITx on edX obtained in September 2021, Introduction to Genomic Technologies from Coursera obtained in September 2020, R programming from Coursera obtained in September 2020, and The Data Scientist's Toolbox from Coursera obtained in September 2020.
