Deidra Harris-Thomas

Deidra Harris-Thomas, PHR, SHRM-SCP, is an experienced HR professional currently serving as Vice President of Human Resources at HCA Healthcare since August 2021. In this role, Deidra partners with leadership to support facility goals and provides coaching on HR policy and labor relations. Prior to this, Deidra was the Director of Human Resources at Volunteers of America Michigan, where responsibilities included leading the HR department and supporting multiple business units. Deidra's experience also encompasses positions as an HR Business Partner/Consultant, Regional HR Office Manager, and various HR roles at several organizations including Huntington Place and PREZIO Health. Deidra holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Spring Arbor University and an Associate of Arts from Wayne County Community College District.
