Isabel Briones CPA, CITP, CHFP is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience across various roles in healthcare and accounting. Currently serving as the Assistant CFO at HCA Healthcare since October 2023, Isabel previously worked as Controller at the University Medical Center of El Paso from March 2021 to September 2023. As the proprietor of IB CPA from April 2017 to December 2020, Isabel provided accounting services and expertise. Prior experience includes a role as Certified Public Accountant at the Drug Enforcement Administration and Controller/Accounting Manager at Fred Loya Insurance Agency. Additionally, Isabel contributed to the US Government Accountability Office as a Systems Accountant/Project Manager. Isabel holds a Master of Accountancy in Financial Accounting and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting, both from The University of Texas at El Paso.
