Paul Smith

Paul Smith is a seasoned healthcare executive with extensive experience in behavioral health and operational management. Currently serving as Vice President of Behavioral Health at HCA Healthcare since April 2021, Paul previously held the position of Assistant Vice President at Perimeter Healthcare, where responsibilities included managing residential services for adolescents across multiple states. As Regional CEO of WoodRidge of Missouri, Paul established and managed the vision for operations, including residential treatment centers and the development of a new psychiatric hospital. With a background in roles such as Group Facility Administrator at DaVita Inc. and Executive Director at Nexus, Mille Lacs Academy, Paul has demonstrated a strong track record in overseeing large teams, managing significant budgets, and driving growth and clinical outcomes. Paul holds a Master of Science in Health Care Administration from the University of South Dakota and a Bachelor of Arts in Social Sciences from Cameron University.
