Alessandra Vittorini Orgeas

Alessandra Vittorini Orgeas is a Junior Research Scientist at the Hungarian Centre of Excellence for Molecular Medicine since December 2022. Previously, Alessandra worked as a Software Consultant at Altitudo from July 2020 to October 2022 and served as a PhD student at the University of Melbourne from February 2015 to September 2019, where also worked as a Mathematics tutor. Alessandra's research experience includes roles as a Doctoral Researcher at the Institut für Theoretische Physik and the Institut National de la Recherche Scientifique, as well as conducting a project on the mechanical properties of spider silk fibers at ENEA. Alessandra's educational background includes a PhD in Mathematical Physics from the University of Melbourne, an MSc in Mathematics and Statistics from the same institution, a Dottorato di Ricerca in Materials for Health, Environment and Energy from the University of Rome Tor Vergata, and a laurea in biofisica from Università di Roma La Sapienza.
