Sachini Siriwardena

Sachini Siriwardena is a Senior Scientist at Life Edit Therapeutics since October 2022, with previous experience as a Scientist II at Prime Medicine, Inc. from February 2021 to September 2022, and as a Scientist at the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard from July 2018 to February 2021 in Amit Choudhary's lab. Prior to these roles, Sachini completed a PhD in Chemistry (Biochemistry) at Wayne State University, where a graduate teaching assistantship was also held from August 2012 to June 2018. Earlier academic experience includes serving as a Temporary Assistant Lecturer at the University of Colombo in 2011-2012 and obtaining a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the University of Colombo from 2007 to 2011. Early education was received at Musaeus College, Colombo 7 from 1993 to 2006.
