Kang Zhao

Kang Zhao serves as the General Manager of Transformation and Group Community Lead at HCF Australia since January 2021, where responsibilities include leading strategic transformation initiatives with a budget of $300 million across various domains such as Policy Administration and Digital Innovations. Prior experience includes serving as the Head of Enterprise Architecture & Integration at HCF, enhancing IT architecture and integration for key initiatives. Currently, Kang Zhao is also a Principal Consultant at KANGTEK, specializing in Enterprise Architecture and Governance. Previously, as Chief Operating Officer and Principal Domain Architect at Civica International, leadership spanned digital/cloud modernization and managing core ERP platform operations for a significant portion of the Australian Private Health Insurance market. Early career roles included positions in software engineering and systems development, complemented by a Research Masters Degree in Computer Science from Western Sydney University.
