Shrikanth Shetty

Shrikanth Shetty—better known as Shetty—is the Corporate Vice President with HCL Technologies and the North America business head for the Life Sciences and Healthcare (LSH) vertical.

Shetty manages the $1bn+ LSH business and is responsible for driving business growth and customer engagements. He is an active participant in assisting HCL’s client strategies, helping transform and adapt them to the new digital age. He strongly believes that technology has a tremendous potential to benefit humankind by helping people lead a healthy life. And the route to do this is by digitally enabling the LSH business ecosystem.

In a career spanning two decades with HCL, Shetty has held various leadership positions and played a pivotal role in establishing HCL’s market leadership position in the LSH vertical, the Infrastructure business, and in forging some of HCL’s largest partnership agreements. He is a committed proponent of HCL’s corporate value around ‘Relationship Beyond the Contract,’ which encompasses demonstrating collaboration, transparency, and flexibility in all the interactions with our customers, and more fundamentally working by the spirit of the client partnership rather than the letter of the contract.

He started his career with HCL in 1998 as a management trainee and was part of the core team that incubated and made HCL’s Infrastructure practice a globally recognized leader in the space. Since 2018, he has been instrumental in driving double-digit growth in HCL’s LSH business. Over the course of his career, he has received various awards for outstanding contribution to the growth and success of the organization. Shetty believes in paying forward and enjoys spending time mentoring the next generation of leaders.
