Sriram Hariharan

EVP, Strategy, Corporate Development & Business Enablement at HCLTech

Sriram Hariharan is the Executive Vice President of Strategy, Corporate Development and Business Enablement at HCL Technologies. In this role, he is responsible for developing the business strategy along with the management team, and for enabling the organization to execute its strategic vision. As Head of Corporate Development, he also leads the company’s interactions with the global investment ecosystem to identify the right inorganic opportunities including acquisitions, joint ventures and strategic investments.

Since his return to HCL in 2017, he has contributed to the execution of the company’s Mode 1-2-3 strategy by leading numerous strategic initiatives including talent and delivery localization in the Americas, sales transformation programs, business process transformation and key acquisitions and integration. In his first innings with HCL in the early 2000s, he was part of the founding team that created the Remote Infrastructure Services business.

Over the last two decades, he has gained experience working as an enterprise technology leader, as a service provider and as a startup founder. As part of his enterprise stint, he spent 10 years at BNY Mellon, leading strategic programs like integration of fintech acquisitions, business process offshoring and Registered Investment Advisors’ (RIA) consulting services. He was also part of the management team that established BNY Mellon’s SaaS subsidiary iNautix USA, now Albridge. He co-founded Myfriday Analytics, a cloud product startup, that offered operational analytics solutions to global service providers.

He received his Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta and B.E (Hons) from Birla Institute of Technology & Science, Pilani.
