Gautam Gill has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Gautam most recently served as the Head of Department - Mascara at HCP Global Cosmetics Packaging since October 2020. Prior to that, from September 2017 to June 2019, they worked as a Controller at Weckerle Cosmetics. From May 2015 to July 2016, they held the role of Product Controller at Royal Bank of Scotland International. In 2011 to 2012, they worked as an Auditor - Internal at Deloitte, specializing in Risk Analysis and SOX Compliance. Gautam also has experience as a Teacher in finance and economics at School 1383 & 152 in Moscow, Russia, and as an Auditor at Enrich Hair & Skin Solutions Pvt. Ltd., focusing on internal audits and brand positioning.

Gautam Gill has a diverse educational background spanning multiple institutions. Gautam'seducation history includes a Master of Science (MSc) in Finance from Kozminski University, which they completed between 2012 and 2014. In 2013, they also pursued studies in Economics, Finance, and Accounting at Universidad de Chile for one year.

Prior to their Master's degree, Gautam Gill attended H.R College of Commerce & Economics from 2008 to 2011, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Accountancy & Finance (B.A.F). In 2009, they briefly studied International Business & Marketing at the prestigious University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business, earning an A+ grade in the subject.

Before their college years, Gautam Gill attended Army Public School from 2006 to 2008, focusing on subjects such as Commerce, Accountancy, and Maths under the CBSE curriculum. Gautam started their academic journey at Cathedral & John Connon from 2002 to 2006, where they pursued a variety of subjects including Science, History, Geography, Commerce, English, and Hindi as part of the ICSE curriculum.
