Kristy Giarratano serves as the Associate Director of Nursing at NYC Health + Hospitals since December 2018 and has held the role of Director of Emergency Services at Tenet Healthcare since June 2017. Kristy has experience as an Interim Assistant Director of Nursing in Emergency Medicine at HCT Executive Interim Management & Consulting since May 2016, and previously worked as an Interim Assistant Manager at Accountable Healthcare Staffing from January 2015 to April 2016. Kristy began working as an RN Staff Nurse at Atlantic Health from October 2007 to November 2014 and as a Registered Nurse at Nurses 24/7- LLC between 2011 and 2014, specializing in Emergency Department and Pediatric ER care. Kristy’s educational background includes a Master of Science in Nursing Administration from The University of Texas at Arlington (2019-2021), a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the same institution (2013-2016), and an Associate’s Degree in Psychology from Rowan College at Burlington County (2004-2006), along with nursing training from Mountainside Hospital School of Nursing (2006-2009).
