Chetan Dhawan

Chetan Dhawan is an experienced finance professional with a strong background in risk management and credit analysis, currently serving as Team Lead in Internal Ratings and Risk Management at HDFC Bank since January 2018. In this role, Chetan manages a team of analysts responsible for internal ratings and risk assessments for significant portfolios, including the Bank's NBFC and Small and Mid Corporate segments. Previously, Chetan worked as a Credit Risk Analyst at India Ratings & Research, focusing on the creditworthiness of financial institutions, and as a Consultant at IRR Advisory Services, specializing in Basel compliance and model validation. Chetan also has a foundation in software development, having worked as a Software Engineer at Aricent Group, and holds a Master of Management Studies in Finance from SIMSREE, University of Mumbai, along with an Engineering degree in Computer Engineering from Pune Institute of Computer Technology.
