Satyajit Sabat has extensive experience in compliance and business strategy within the banking sector. Currently serving as AVP - Compliance at HDFC Bank since September 2019, Satyajit focuses on compliance for Digital Banking, Payment Business, and Government Business, overseeing adherence to regulatory guidelines. Prior experience includes a role as Sr Associate in Business Strategy & BIU at the National Payments Corporation of India from April 2016 to August 2019, where responsibilities involved managing business analytics for over 1,050 banks and supporting data-driven decision-making. Satyajit also held the position of Deputy Manager at NPCI, managing critical relationships with the State Bank of India during significant transformations in the banking industry. Earlier experience includes a Management Trainee role at Central Bank of India, participating in credit assessment projects. Satyajit holds a PGDM in Banking and Financial Services from the National Institute of Bank Management and a B. Tech in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the National Institute of Science and Technology.
