Somen Acharjee

Somen Acharjee possesses extensive experience in credit underwriting and financial management, currently serving as a Manager at HDFC Bank since September 2015, overseeing the underwriting of various unsecured loans and providing final appraisals alongside junior credit managers. Previous roles include Deputy Manager, responsible for underwriting unsecured loans across the Northeastern region of India and beyond, and Assistant Manager, where Somen handled significant monthly loan volumes and achieved high turnaround times. Somen initiated new business underwriting policies for the region and began the career as a Trainee Credit Manager, conducting credit assessments for secured assets.
