Narendra Gangan

Narendra Gangan is the current General Counsel, Chief Compliance Officer & Company Secretary at HDFC Life. Narendra has over 22 years of experience in the financial services industry with a focus on compliance with IRDA, SEBI, RBI guidelines, and company law. Their previous experience includes working as the Company Secretary at Baskin Robin's from October 1997 to October 1999 and Senior Director & Head of Compliance at IDFC Ltd from April 2008 to July 2017. As Senior Director & Head of Compliance at IDFC Ltd, Narendra led a successful IPO of HDFC life with expected market capital close to Rs 60000 crores and heading a large team of experienced professionals in Legal, Compliance and Secretarial.

Narendra Gangan attended SVKM's Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS) where they completed a B.Com, ACS, MBA, and LL.B in Finance and Corporate Laws.
