Ana Casillas

Ana Casillas has worked as the Lead Analyst for Transactions & Use Tax at HdL Companies since 2018. Her role involves reviewing tax data to identify potential errors and increase client revenue, managing the transactions and use tax team, and working closely with the management team to expand current methodologies and identify new opportunities for auditing special taxing districts. Prior to this position, Ana worked as an Audit Services Coordinator for HdL Companies, where they partnered with over 500 government agencies in 11 states and recovered more than $2 billion in revenue for clients. From 2015 to 2018, Ana worked as a Research Analyst for PBACheck, an attorney-owned investigative research company with a focus on litigation, collections, judgment enforcement, fraud prevention and detection, business and investment due diligence, and business risk management.

Ana Casillas has pursued their education from various universities and colleges. Ana completed their Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration, Management and Operations from University of La Verne in 2020. In 2018, they pursued Bachelor of Arts in Computer and Information Systems Security/Information Assurance from California State Polytechnic University-Pomona. Before that, they attained an Associate of Science in Business Administration and Management, General from Citrus College in 2016. Additionally, Ana Casillas obtained a certification in Online Marketing Foundations from Lynda.com in February 2018.
