Azeem Zeekrya

Azeem Zeekrya has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. In 2013, Azeem worked as an intern at American Scientific Lab, gaining administrative experience in a medical setting. Responsibilities included handling office duties and preparing samples for testing.

In 2015, Azeem joined UIC - Academic Computing and Communications Center as a Consultant. This role primarily involved managing labs, equipment, and inventory, as well as providing technical support to students and professors.

In 2016, Azeem joined HDMZ where they started as an intern, assisting with various projects and performing office management tasks. Azeem then progressed to become an Account Coordinator, gaining experience in the scientific communications/public relations department. Azeem's responsibilities expanded, including leading the development of articles, conducting share of voice audits, and contributing to communication plans. In 2019, they were promoted to Senior Account Executive, with continued success and growth in their role.

Currently, Azeem holds the position of Associate Director, Scientific Communications at HDMZ, starting in April 2021.

Azeem Zeekrya completed their education in a chronological sequence. Starting in 2012, they attended Saint Xavier University where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Pre-Medicine and Biology. After completing their degree, they transferred to the University of Illinois Chicago in 2014. Here, they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Pre-Medicine and Biological Sciences in 2016. Following this, Azeem enrolled at the Illinois Institute of Technology in 2016 and completed a Master of Science degree in Biology for Health Professions in 2017.
