Calvin Denissen

Calvin Denissen, P.E. serves as the Substation Section Manager at HDR since July 2021, overseeing the management of substation projects, including scope development, project team management, execution, quality control, and budget oversight. Prior to that, Calvin was the Substation Team Lead at Realtime Utility Engineers, Inc. (a Quanta Services Company) from May 2017 to July 2021, and has held various engineering roles including Project Engineer at Georgia-Pacific LLC and Electrical Engineer at Realtime Utility Engineers, Inc. Calvin began the career as a Graduate Engineer focused on substation design, following an internship at Realtime Utility Engineers, Inc. and a role as a CAD Technician II. Educationally, Calvin earned a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from the Milwaukee School of Engineering and attended Madison Area Technical College.
