Katie Toms

Katie Toms is a Water Resources Engineer-in-Training currently employed at HDR since January 2024, with previous experience as a Graduate Engineer in Water Resources at ISG from June 2022 to October 2023. At ISG, Katie developed expertise in hydraulic modeling, stormwater management infrastructure design, and geospatial analysis using software like HEC-RAS, HydroCad, ArcGIS Pro, and ArcMap. Prior roles include serving as a Graduate Engineer focused on water and wastewater systems and a water engineering intern at WesTech Engineering, where various engineering projects were undertaken. Katie holds a Master of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, with a minor in Sustainability, both obtained from Iowa State University. Additionally, Katie has experience in student mentorship and program facilitation while working as a Resident Assistant and Course Assistant during time at Iowa State.
