Mikkel Foltmar

Mikkel Foltmar is an experienced environmental engineer currently serving as the Alaska Drinking Water/Wastewater Lead at HDR since August 2023. With a background that includes a role as a committee volunteer for the Prince William Sound Regional Citizens' Advisory Council since 2014, Mikkel has provided technical support for Valdez Marine Terminal operations. Previous positions include Environmental Engineer at Sedona Technologies Government Services, where Mikkel reviewed Tribal Climate Resilience Programs, and owner of Foltmar Eco Engineering, specializing in various environmental consulting services. Mikkel's experience also encompasses a staff environmental engineer role at NORTECH, as well as legal technician and deputy clerk positions with the Alaska Court System. Educational qualifications include a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Technology and Chemical Engineering from the Technical University of Denmark, complemented by an exchange program at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
