Kasey Shumard

Kasey Shumard is a Mechanical Design Engineer with experience at HDT Global since October 2024 and previously at Quest Defense from May 2023 to October 2024, where Kasey developed finite element models for military gas turbine engines and addressed model convergence issues to enhance accuracy and efficiency. Earlier roles include a Mechanical Engineer Co-op at Apex Order Pickup Solutions, where Kasey contributed to prototype assembly and certification compliance, and a Design Engineer Co-op at Basco Shower Enclosures, involving 3D assembly modifications and manufacturing project oversight. Additional experience as a Swim Instructor at Lori's H20 Skills involved assessing swimming capabilities and adapting curricula for individuals with disabilities. Kasey holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and an academic minor in Robotics and Automation from the University of Cincinnati, complemented by a high school diploma from Milford Senior High School.
