Coley Florance

Coley is the Head of Talent at Spectrum Equity, a San Francisco-based growth equity firm that provides capital and strategic support to innovative Internet, software, and information services companies. In her role, she partners with investment professionals and portfolio company leadership on all aspects of people, pay, and performance including leadership assessment, acquisition and onboarding, team building and effectiveness, board composition, retention strategies, and performance management. Prior to joining Spectrum Equity, she was an Operating Director, Human Capital at TPG Capital, and an executive search professional with Heidrick & Struggles. Early in her career, she worked as a teacher at the Head-Royce School and as a Teach for America corps member in rural Louisiana. Coley received an A.B. in biological anthropology from Harvard College and is a Head-Royce “lifer” (class of '87).
