Matthew McCloskey

Matt McCloskey is a Partner at Spencer Stuart, a global executive search and leadership consulting firm specializing in senior executive and board roles. Matt is a leader within the firm's Financial Officers Practice, where he focuses on CFO engagements across sectors, including financial services, healthcare and technology. Matt joined Spencer Stuart from the investment management division of Goldman Sachs, where he invested capital on behalf of the firm’s clients. Matt began his career working in politics at GMMB, a strategic communications firm focused on political races and issue advocacy campaigns.

Matt holds an M.B.A. from UCLA Anderson School of Management with a concentration in finance and a B.A. in public policy studies from Duke University. He currently serves on the board of Skyline Lacrosse Club. Matt and his wife, Lizzy, live in Oakland and are the proud parents of Will ’30, Alexandra (Alex) '32, and Connor.
