Amos Barreto

Amos Barreto has a wealth of experience in the technology industry. Amos began their career in 2010 as a Software Engineer at Cisco, followed by a role as a Web Application Developer at Gobble. In 2011, they joined Uber, where they held the positions of Software Engineer, Engineering Manager, Senior Engineering Manager, and Director of Engineering. Amos was responsible for creating and leading the Marketplace organization, which grew from 3 engineers to 150+ across a dozen teams. In 2016, they became an Angel investor and startup advisor for Startups. In 2019, they took on the role of Vice President of Engineering at Sprig, and in 2021 they were appointed Chief Technology Officer at HeadRace.

Amos Barreto attended William G. Enloe High School and then Duke University, where they earned a B.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering and Computer Science.
