Varnett Alegria Gomez has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Varnett Alegria started their career as an Administrative Intern at Interfaith Ministries for Greater Houston in 2013, where they designed instructive material for volunteer programs and organized records for fundraisers and events. In 2014, they became a Program Coordinator at Heading Home, where they developed instructional materials for the shelter program and implemented individual stabilization models to reduce the length of stay.

In 2015, Varnett worked as a Training and Development Consultant at STUDIORED Communications, where they improved company-wide communication, increased employee retention rates, and designed trainings based on project needs. Varnett Alegria then transitioned to Brittingham Architecture PLLC in 2016 as a Project Manager, where they implemented efficient resource allocation processes, maximized client acquisition, and streamlined database management.
