Zachary Iscol is the Commissioner of the New York City Emergency Management Department since February 2022, bringing extensive experience in leadership and organizational roles. Iscol serves as Chairman Emeritus and Board Member for The Headstrong Project, a non-profit focused on providing mental healthcare to veterans, which Iscol co-founded. Additionally, Iscol is the CEO and Founder of Grid North Group, a portfolio of brands catering to military-related content, reaching over 25 million visitors monthly. Notably, during the COVID-19 pandemic, Iscol served as Deputy Director for the Joint New York Medical Station, coordinating numerous agencies to establish a successful field hospital.
