Lulu Tang

Lulu Tang has a diverse and extensive work experience. Lulu is currently a senior product designer at Heady, where they started in 2023. Prior to that, from 2019 to 2023, Lulu operated their own micro design studio called Lulu Spice Designs. In this role, they collaborated with various startups and small businesses to provide design services such as product design, logo and brand development, and visual design systems.

From 2019 to 2022, Lulu worked at Clockwise as a brand designer, illustrator, and later as a senior product designer. Lulu collaborated with different departments within the company to create a wide range of visual artifacts, and also helped develop and maintain a visual identity across marketing materials and the product.

In 2021, Lulu worked at Censys as a senior UX designer, where they collaborated closely with cross-functional teams and led workshops to align teams and provide design guidance.

In 2019, Lulu worked briefly at LoanSense as a senior product designer, where they worked closely with the PM/CEO, mentored a junior designer, and designed onboarding flows and dashboards.

In 2018, they worked at Turo as a senior product designer, collaborating with product and growth teams to improve the car rental platform. Lulu also managed stakeholders, timelines, and goals for high-visibility features related to driver safety.

Lulu has also held roles at DoorDash, Duo Security, Fetchnotes, and Epic, where they gained experience in graphic design, product design, and software development.

Lulu Tang completed their high school education at Detroit Country Day High School, receiving a High School Diploma in 2011. Lulu then pursued further education at the University of Michigan from 2011 to 2014, earning a Bachelor of Science and Engineering (BSE) degree in Computer Science with a minor in Art & Design. In 2018, Lulu attended Cooper Professional Education to study Design Leadership, though no degree information is available for this program.
