Alexia Skrbic

Alexia Skrbic is an experienced marine educator and conservationist currently serving as an Aquarium Education Associate at Heal the Bay, where responsibilities include leading youth from Title I schools in Los Angeles through marine exploration and environmental education. With a background as a Marine Biology Head Teacher at Lanterns Global, a Head Marine Science Instructor at Waterfront Education, and a Naturalist/Outreach & Conservation Coordinator at San Diego Whale Watch, Alexia has a strong foundation in curriculum development and outdoor educational activities. Previous roles involve science communication and outreach with organizations such as Waterlust, SHARK ALLIES, Sea of Change Foundation, and Stream2Sea. Alexia holds a Master of Professional Science in Marine Conservation from the University of Miami and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Chapman University.
