Xiuping Liu

Xiuping Liu has extensive work experience in the field of biotechnology and pharmaceutical research. Xiuping currently holds the position of Lab Director at Healgen Scientific, where they have been working since 2020. Prior to that, they worked as the Director of the Lab Department at the same company.

Before joining Healgen Scientific, Xiuping Liu worked at UT MD Anderson Cancer Center as an Associate Professor starting in 2008.

From 2008 to 2021, they held the role of Operation Director of Next Generation Sequencing & Microarray Core Lab at MD Anderson Cancer Center. In this role, they gained 6 years of experience in functional genomic research, assay development, and array data analysis.

Prior to MD Anderson Cancer Center, they worked as a Senior Research Specialist at OSU from 2004 to 2008. Before that, they were an R&D Scientist II at Bristol-Myers Squibb from 2002 to 2004, and a Research Scientist II at IIntegrated Genomics Inc from 2000 to 2002.

Their earlier work experience includes being a Senior Research Scientist and Research Scientist at Northwestern University from 1999 to 2000, and a Research Scientist at Rutgers University from 1996 to 1999.

Xiuping Liu has a degree in Medicine (M.D.) from the Shandong University of Traditional Chinese Medicine.
