Davide Morelli

Davide Morelli has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Davide is currently serving as the Interim Chief Technology Officer at Healios and also holds the position of Vice President of Artificial Intelligence. Prior to that, they worked at BioBeats (a Huma company) as the Managing Director of the Italian branch and as a Co-founder and CTO. Davide also served as the Director of Data Science and Machine Learning at Huma. Additionally, they have had lecturing positions at the University of Oxford, Università di Pisa, and the University of Surrey. Davide has also worked as an advisor at IULM Innovation Lab. In the past, they held the role of CTO at Adaptive Media Labs and Mindful Sound Ltd.

Davide Morelli began their educational journey by obtaining a Diploma in Saxophone from the Istituto Musicale Parificato "P. Mascagni" in Livorno, from 1993 to 2000. Davide then pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science at Università di Pisa from 1999 to 2002. Continuing their academic pursuits, Davide completed a Master of Science degree in Computer Science at the same institution from 2005 to 2010. Davide further advanced in their field by pursuing a Ph.D. in Computer Science at Università di Pisa, which they successfully completed from 2010 to 2015. Lastly, Davide Morelli embarked on a journey of research and learning at the University of Oxford, where they pursued a DPhil degree in Engineering Science from 2018 to 2022.
