Kevin Smith

Kevin Smith is a seasoned professional in government relations, currently serving as a Government Relations Specialist at Health Alliance since May 2013, while also holding the title of Government and Regulatory Specialist for Health Alliance Medical Plans and Carle Health. Responsibilities include monitoring legislation and fostering relationships with state and federal officials. Prior to this role, Kevin served as Deputy District Director for Congressman Randy M. Hultgren, overseeing multiple district offices and staff, and as District Aide-Constituent Advocate for Congressman Timothy V. Johnson, where Kevin facilitated communication between constituents and government agencies. Additional experience includes positions at the Illinois Press Association, Illinois Department of Revenue, and the Illinois General Assembly, where Kevin developed expertise in legislation analysis, fiscal impact assessments, and constituent advocacy. Kevin holds a BA in Communication from Eastern Illinois University.
